The Inauguration Ceremony of JCI Dhaka Prestige took place on Saturday, 29th January,2022 and the founding board was formed. JCI Dhaka Prestige is a non-profit organization that aspires to have a significant impact on society by bringing together young active people who believe in change for a greater Good which embodies the Junior Chamber International’s vision “To be the leading global network of young active citizens”.
Ms. Sharmina Akter Patin, the Chapter’s Founder and Local President, believes that if young people strive together for the betterment of society, significant changes may be accomplished.
The 2022 National President of JCI Bangladesh, Mr. Niaz Morshed Elite graced the Ceremony as the Chief Guest. By completing the Oath-Taking ceremony, the Founding as well as Local President along with the Founding Board of Directors began their journey to work with youth communities and to bring a positive impact in the society.
Along with the inauguration, the chapter held its first General Members Meeting, during which the Plan of Action, as well as upcoming events and projects, were announced.
The Chapter also hosted a ‘Coffee with Prestige’ event, which featured a training session for the members where members had the opportunity to meet the National Officers of JCI Bangladesh, the Local Board of Directors, and other members of the chapter, which added to the event’s value.
